Exercise

ResetBalance is ideal for replacing minerals lost due to sweating.

Sweat is composed mainly of sodium, with a smaller amount of potassium and other minerals.

If you are a professional athlete then a dedicated sports electrolyte might suit you better as they usually contain a large amount of sodium and a smaller amount of potassium.

Every person sweats a different amount, and their sweat contains different amounts of sodium and potassium, therefore it is best for professional athletes to work out exactly how much sodium and potassium they are loosing based on the workouts they are doing.

The risk with consuming sports electrolytes is if they contain a large amount of sodium and then you don’t sweat out all that sodium then you could create a sodium/potassium imbalance where there is more sodium in your blood than potassium. That could result in making it harder for your kidneys to maintain normal blood pressure until the potassium levels increase again.

If a workout is not too long (1 or 2 hours) or it is not that intense, then you might find it safer to use ResetBalance to replace the lost minerals, as there is no risk of consuming more sodium than potassium.
